Most lubricants are made of oil additives that generate a viscous film that prevents direct contact between metal parts

For that reason, thanks to the proper maintenance and control of the engine lubricant, the friction will decrease considerably, which minimises wear and corrosion.

At Cojali Parts, we have different sensors for ensuring that the oil is in optimal operating conditions.

• Oil level sensor, which informs about the quantity of oil in the vehicle. Thanks to this sensor, it is possible to perform predictive maintenance and prevent lubrication problems. 
• The oil pressure sensorverifies that the lubrication system is operating. It has an essential function since the vehicle cannot be started if there is no pressure in the lubrication circuit. 
•  Oil temperature sensor, whose aim is to control that the lubricant is in optimal conditions for the engine operation. Most lubricants have defined operating temperatures. The oil can be degraded and lose its chemical properties out of this range of temperatures.
