Thanks to this wide range of gears in contrast to passenger cars, it is possible to adapt the high power of the engines to the different driving scenarios.

Apart from the common components, such as gears, shafts or selectors, gearboxes include a series of electro-pneumatic valves, which are actuated by compressed air for gear management.

These valves are pressurised thanks to the pneumatic system and are in charge of functions as essential as the range shift or the activation of selectors. 

Elements such as the gearbox valves, the clutch modules, or the gear modules or range group modules help to perform an almost immediate gear shift, as well as to achieve the speed adjustment and the torque required for the vehicle needs.
