SENSOR CHECKING IN CLIMATIC CHAMBER

In this video, we show you how we perform the checking of a MAP sensor (Manifold Absolute Pressure), in charge of measuring the engine intake air pressure and temperature.

Thanks to this type of checking, it is possible to faithfully recreate the sensor real operating conditions and ensure an optimal and controlled environment of temperature and humidity.

Currently, it is necessary for new commercial vehicles to meet the Euro VI standards, which deal with restrictions regarding fuel consumption. For this reason, all vehicle components that affect fuel consumption directly must achieve a performance as optimal as possible. These components include the fan clutch of the cooling system.

One of the most important parts of a cooling viscous clutch is the main shaft. The rest of parts are assembled upon this component, which is in charge of transferring the movement of the engine to the clutch and bearing its weight. For that reason, the main shaft is the component more prone to mechanical failures or breaks.
