Despite the great number of references contained in our product catalogue, sometimes our customers might require the development of new products for which Cojali does not have a standardised reference yet.

Currently, it is necessary for new commercial vehicles to meet the Euro VI standards, which deal with restrictions regarding fuel consumption. For this reason, all vehicle components that affect fuel consumption directly must achieve a performance as optimal as possible. These components include the fan clutch of the cooling system.

One of the most important parts of a cooling viscous clutch is the main shaft. The rest of parts are assembled upon this component, which is in charge of transferring the movement of the engine to the clutch and bearing its weight. For that reason, the main shaft is the component more prone to mechanical failures or breaks.
