In commercial vehicles, brake and suspension systems work together.

So much so that the variability in the weight of the load results in the brake system needing to adapt to different situations.

When a truck is completely loaded, the braking power is greater than when it is lightly loaded, even if the brake pedal is pressed the same!

The component responsible for this adjustment is the load sensing valve, better known as "ALB valve" or "LSV valve".

This valve has an adaptation mechanism that modifies the outlet pressure to the brake actuator and works differently depending on the suspension type (mechanic or pneumatic).
