Cojali introduces its range of universal TPMS sensors

May 21, 2025

After the launch of Jaltest TPMS, its professional solution for the testing and programming of tyre pressure monitoring systems, Cojali S. L. announces the commercialisation of its new range of TPMS sensors, designed to offer maximum flexibility and efficiency in the maintenance of commercial vehicles.

The range includes both OE technology sensors and universal sensors, covering all maintenance and replacement needs.

Sensors with OE technology are electronically pre-programmed like the original vehicle sensors, so they can be used as a direct replacement. For their installation, it is necessary to pair the sensor with the vehicle ECU by means of Jaltest Diagnostics or a similar diagnostics tool entering the identification code (ID) of the sensor, visible physically, or through reading with Jaltest TPMS.

On the other hand, Cojali TPMS universal sensors are delivered unprogrammed and are designed to be easily cloned or configured through Jaltest TPMS. Depending on the programming method used, in some cases it will not be necessary to perform any intervention on the ECU, while in others it will be necessary to communicate the new ID using a diagnostics tool such as Jaltest Diagnostics.

Both types of sensors have an electronic board that monitors pressure and temperature, receives battery status information and is capable of establishing wireless communication with the vehicle ECU. In the case of OE sensors, the identification code is already registered internally and must be linked to the ECU. For universal sensors, the ID is programmed during the configuration process, depending on the selected method.

Key features:

• Full compatibility with Jaltest TPMS.

• Link to the ECU for OE sensors through Jaltest Diagnostics.

• Direct cloning of the original sensor in universal sensors.

• Wireless reading of ID, pressure, temperature and battery status.

• Battery with an estimated useful life of up to 5 years.

• Coverage for all types of fleets.

In addition, Cojali offers universal valve kits for tyres with TPMS sensors, marketed separately and not linked to specific OE references. This provides workshops and fleets with a solution that is fully adaptable to their particular needs, regardless of vehicle type or sensor configuration.

In line with the European UN ECE R141 regulation, which requires from July 2024 the incorporation of TPMS systems in new commercial vehicles, Cojali’s range of TPMS sensors not only reinforces its commitment to road safety, driving comfort and operational efficiency, but also demonstrates that the company is at the forefront in the development of solutions for intelligent fleet maintenance.
