For this reason, all vehicle components that affect fuel consumption directly must achieve a performance as optimal as possible. These components include the fan clutch of the cooling system.

Una delle componenti più importanti del mozzo viscostatico di raffreddamento è l’asse principale. Il resto dei componenti viene montato su di di esso ed è il responsabile della trasmissione del movimento del motore alla frizione, sostenendone il peso. Per questo motivo l'asse principale è il componente più esposto a guasti o rotture meccaniche.
